    Question: Could the blue stripes be reversed right side to left side and rotated 180º to better align with the actual doors thus avoiding crossing over the gap between doors and rear fenders?
    I believe that's one area to be addressed. Otherwise an inspiring build of a great car... that's why I own a Mustang now and was an original Mustang owner in 1965! Great job.

    • @mokeipaint
      @mokeipaint  Год назад

      Thank you. Which part did I turn 180°? I also like the 1965 Mustang. The design is cool. The Mustang is a cool American classic. It is great that you own that Mustang.

    • @jamesbunch9964
      @jamesbunch9964 Год назад +1

      @@mokeipaint The part or better stated is the decal in blue right behind the doors. If switched from right side to left side and visa versa and perhaps rotated 180º might they line up with the door better and avoid crossing over the gap between door and fender? Thanks for your reply. I'm considering a minor trim to avoid that decal crossing over the gap.

    • @mokeipaint
      @mokeipaint  Год назад

      @@jamesbunch9964 The decals are attached by looking at the photo of the actual car. The position of the blue decal on the actual car is different on the left and right. There is a possibility that the designer intentionally shifted the lettering of the door / FORD PERFRMACE in consideration of the appearance.

    • @mokeipaint
      @mokeipaint  Год назад +1

      Thank you. I have never measured drying time. I judge that the base color is dry by appearance. Drying time varies depending on the temperature and parts, but I usually wait about 10 to 30 minutes.

    • @mokeipaint
